After the reel life amidst the havoc of the Corona virus, now in real life too, by becoming 'padmen', they are helping the needy women. Actually, Akshay is associated with the campaign to provide sanitary pads to needy women.


Together with the NGO named Akshay Kumar Surrender, it will now provide 10,000 sanitary pads to the needy women in Mumbai every day. Akshay Kumar has also tweeted on social media and appealed for everyone to join this campaign.

During an interview, NGO founder Dr. Ruma Bhargava said, menstrual hygiene is not a privilege, it is a basic human right. Only 42 percent of women in India use pads, there can be many reasons such as inability to buy, lack of availability, lack of awareness about menstrual hygiene.


It is being told that through this campaign, sanitation kits are also being distributed in places like Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Jodhpur, Latur and Ujjain. Now Bhumi Pednekar has also joined Akshay Kumar in this initiative.
