Shooting of film and TV serial will begin with rules, government gives green signal



The film and TV industry has been stalled for a long time due to the lockdown caused by the Corona virus. Post-lockdown shooting, production work, theaters are causing significant damage to the industry. However, now gradually the work of the industry is also going to be back on track.

After seeking permission from several film organizations to start shooting, the Maharashtra government has given the green signal to the filmmakers to start work. The Maharashtra government has allowed film-TV shooting with social distancing in the state. The state government has set some terms and conditions to start shooting, which must be ensured.


Film, TV, web series units must follow all other guidelines related to social distancing and health at the time of the ting. With this, shooting can be done only with the permission of the district officials of the respective region.

Permission has to be obtained from the District Collector for shooting in Film City. The production unit must comply with the standard operating procedure. Everyone returning to work must have a medical test. After getting permission from the government to start the work, the makers are thanking the Chief Minister of the state, Uddhav Thackeray.
The culture ministry of the state said that according to the government guidelines, producers will have to do pre-production and post-production work. If this is not done then the work will be stopped.


According to the guideline, the government has allowed shooting on set with 33 per cent crew members. Producers will have to apply to the district collectors for the start of shooting outside Maharashtra Film, Theater, Cultural Development Corporation, Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagri and Mumbai.
